Get Ripped: Day 4

I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy Day 4 of the Get Ripped Series. I am actually being consistent about getting up and working out! My eating is getting better (for the most part), and there are others who are seriously considering joining in! It would be great to share this experience with others, but even if no one else joins in, I am proud of myself.

 

The food

My craving for sweet was strong today, and sadly I caved in. I got some white chocolate peanut and caramel thing. It will definitely throw my plan off, but I need to look at why I caved so easily. I bought enough for today and tomorrow, so I am planning on eating it all. For me, it is important to track what I am eating to see trends or patterns that need correct. Honestly this indulgence I believe stems from lack of protein. I haven’t been having my post workout mix. This is something that needs correcting. Looking back at it, There is so much room for improvement. I didn’t enough food, and got hungry as a result.

  • Post workout drink: Missed the chlorella mix.
  • Breakfast: Smoothie
  • Snack: skipped
  • Snack: Herbal Tea (chamomile and jasmin green tea)
  • Lunch: 2 apples
  • Snack: Polar bear chocolate evilness
  • Dinner: Fish and mixed vegetables (broccoli and carrots)
  • Water: Lacking in this area

 

The Workout

This was another leg day workout. I did 3 rounds of this one. It wasn’t especially difficult, but I felt the burn. I didn’t go for a run or anything this morning. It was another rush to get ready for work, and out the door after the workout. I didn’t really start sweating until the 2nd round. I guess I have gotten stronger!
